Leave of absence cannot to be claimed as a matter of right. In case of employee who is recalled to duty before the expire of leave, such recall of leave shall be treated as compulsory.
1) Casual leave – 8 days in a calendar year is granted on full pay, if due.
2) Normally casual leave shall be applied for and got sanctioned from the competent authority before bit is actually availed of except in unforeseen emergent circumstances.
3) Not more than 4 days casual leave shall be granted to an employee at any one time except under special circumstances to be recorded.
4) Casual leave cannot be combined with regular leave or vacation.
5) Casual leave not availed in a calendar year cannot be carried over to the next calendar year. Such leave shall lapse on 31st December of the year.

Earned Leave: 1) Earned leave – 10 days in a calendar year is granted on full pay, if due.
2) A vacational employee will be credited with 5 days & non-vacational employee will be credited with 15 days of earned leave’ on the 1st of January and July every year
3) The balance of earned leave on 31st December every year will be carried forwarded to the next calendar year.
